The Team

This film is being directed & produced by Megan Griffiths and Mindie Lind, with Mindie also serving as the film’s narrator and composer, and Megan serving as its editor. Both Mindie and Megan have spent years working in production; Mindie primarily in the corporate, viral, and commercial space, and Megan primarily in film and television. 

Introduced by filmmaker Lynn Shelton , Mindie and Megan have been working for almost ten years to tell this story in a way that is modern, complicated, and unwavering in its truth.

Mindie Lind

Director, Producer, Narrator, Composer

As a musician and artist, Mindie has grabbed the attention of media outlets in Seattle and beyond. With her southern gothic sounds, she's been named City Arts Magazine Artist of the Year, one of Seattle Magazine’s 50 Best Artists, and shared a stage with Lena Dunham and Ben Folds. She's currently contributing her unvarnished takes of the crip experience to Vice and Seattle weekly The Stranger, championing crip culture and adding much-needed nuance to stories around disability.

Megan Griffiths

Director, Producer, Editor

Megan Griffiths is a writer/director working in film and television. She has made eight features and is an alum of Sundance, Toronto, South by Southwest, and Tribeca, as well as being a member of the director’s branch of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences. Griffiths has directed shows for HBO, EPIX, TNT, Hulu, USA, Fox, Netflix, and served as the producing director for Amazon’s “The Summer I Turned Pretty.” She resides in Seattle, WA, with her husband and cat.

Jamie Hunsdale - Sound Design

Jamie Hunsdale has been a trusted and award winning sound designer for over 20 years. He’s worked on over 80 films and countless video games. He’s traveled the world recording and capturing specialty sounds for bespoke projects. He is dedicated to his craft, the sound industry and Seattle film community. 

Bad Animals Studios - Original Audio Recording

A Seattle institution for over 30 years, the team at Bad Animals has built a success story in the Pacific Northwest unlike any other. Iconic artists such as Heart, Alice in Chains, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, Nirvana, Foo Fighters, The Beach Boys, Johnny Cash, B.B. King, Radiohead, R.E.M., and Neil Young have recorded at the studio. The studio has also won many Emmys and other awards for their work in voice recording, sound design, and sound mixing for films, tv, radio, high-corporate events and video games.
